The endline evaluation was conducted on the project Amplifying Women’s Voices (AWV) Project. The project was implemented by BBC Media Action. The project was implemented from 2019 to 2022 with funding from Global Affairs Canada (GAC). The AWV Project used the factual radio program Let’s Talk About Us which was broadcasted with the aim to improve knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The radio program also targeted storylines related to gender-based violence (GBV), particularly violence against women and girls (VAWG), power dynamics in relationships, and household decision making decision-making using the Life in Lulu radio drama program. The overall aim of the AMV Project is to contribute to women and girls being empowered to make their own decisions regarding their sexual and reproductive health and rights in a more peaceful environment. ISPR as the local Research and Policy Institute understands the South Sudan text better and is able to navigate challenges while building trust with communities, and national, state, and local government stakeholders.
